SEOUL, July 18 (Yonhap) — KBS 2TV’s “Fight For My Way” clinched a three-week winning streak on a benchmark TV popularity index, data showed Tuesday.
Starring Park Seo-joon and Kim Ji-won, the Monday-Tuesday drama scored 258 points on the Content Power Index (CPI), becoming the most popular TV program from July 3-July 9.
CPI, developed by entertainment company CJ E&M and Nielsen Korea, measures the popularity of TV shows based on the number of views of related news stories, online search tallies and buzz on social media.
The coming-of-age series centers around a band of four young adult friends, lacking purpose in life due to their self-professed “third-rate lives,” who later push forward to achieve their unfulfilled dreams.

TvN’s new series “Bride of Water God” starring Shin Se-kyung and Nam Joo-hyuk, debuted on the chart at second place, scoring 239.3 points, and late night talk show “Radio Star” climbed nine pegs to finish third, with 230.5 points.
KBS 2TV’s variety talks program “Happy Together” rose seven notches to fourth place, and was trailed by weekend drama series “Father Is Strange,” which advanced three steps to the fifth spot.
MBC TV’s weekend marquee show “Infinite Challenge” finished sixth, while Mnet’s hip-hop audition program “Show Me the Money 6,” fell seven notches to come in at seventh place.
“Ruler: Master of the Mask,” MBC TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama and tvN’s comedy show “Journey to the West 4” tied at eighth, followed by SBS TV’s “Fantastic Duo 2” clocking in at tenth.
