SEOUL, May 25 (Yonhap) — K-pop idol rock band FT Island plans to release its 10th anniversary album next month, its agency said Thursday.
The anniversary album will be released on June 7, with its pre-release song “Lovesick” slated to come out on Sunday.
“Lovesick” is a rearranged version of the band’s debut song from 2007. Upon debut, FT Island stormed streaming and TV music show charts with the track, sweeping numerous rookie of the year awards at the time.
FNC unveiled a teaser image for the remake and also uploaded a retrospective video looking back on the band’s decade-long career.
The name of the five-member band, which specializes mostly in rock ballads, is an abbreviated form of the words “five treasure island.”
